ca'nine leptospiro'sis



Vet. Pathol.
an often fatal intestinal disease in dogs, caused by any of several spirochetes of the genus Leptospira. Also called ca'nine ty'phus, Stuttgart disease, Stuttgart's disease. Cf. canicola fever, leptospirosis.
