1. of, using, or involving equations.
2. Biol.pertaining to the second or nonreductional cell division in meiosis, in which each chromosome divides into two equal parts.
3. Gram.(of a sentence or predication) consisting of a subject and a complement with or without a copula: “Very interesting, those books” is an equational sentence.
