Pronunciation: (ring'urz), [key] Pharm.
an aqueous solution of the chlorides of sodium, potassium, and calcium in the same concentrations as normal body fluids, used chiefly in the laboratory for sustaining tissue. Cf. isotonic sodium chloride solution.
