1. Also called Santa Cruz. a U.S. island in the N Lesser Antilles: the largest of the Virgin Islands. 51,570; 82 sq. mi. (212 sq. km).
2. a river flowing from NW Wisconsin along the boundary between Wisconsin and Minnesota into the Mississippi. 164 mi. (264 km) long.
3. a river in the NE United States and SE Canada, forming a part of the boundary between Maine and New Brunswick, flowing into Passamaquoddy Bay. 75 mi. (121 km) long.
