Pronunciation: (mar'u-nīt"), [key]
n.
a member of a body of Uniates living chiefly in Lebanon, who maintain a Syriac liturgy and a married clergy, and who are governed by the patriarch of Antioch. Also called Mar'onite Chris'tian.
