  1. to deal wrongly or incorrectly, esp. to deal the wrong number at cards.
—n.
  1. a deal in which the wrong number of cards have been distributed or in which the cards were dealt in the wrong order or manner, necessitating a new deal and the cancellation of any points made on the hand, sometimes with a penalty to the dealer.
